Lord on July 7, 2019 in Hallettsville, Texas. Reynaldo was born in Chapeno,
Texas to Emeterio and Angelina Salinas De La Garza on December 9, 1945.
He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of The Vietnam
War. Reynaldo was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal with 3 Bronze
Service Stars, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the National
Defense Service Medal.
Reynaldo is preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers,
Julio De La Garza, Ruben De La Garza, and Humberto De La Garza, Sr.
He is survived by his sons, Rey De La Garza, Jr. of Port Lavaca;
Joel De La Garza and wife Laura, of Port Lavaca; and daughter
Julie De La Garza Hoblak, of Victoria. He is also survived by three sisters,
Camelia Carrera, Edna De La Garza, and Mandy Grant.
Reynaldo is survived by six grandchildren, Samantha De La Garza, Chance
and Autumn Hoblak, Joshua and Justin Briseno, and Laurie Jack;
and five great-grandchildren, Greyson De La Garza, Jaxon, Terrance, and
Zoe Jack, and Juliana Briseno
Visitation will be from 5-7 PM with a Rosary at 7 PM on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at Richardson Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Port Lavaca Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Reynaldo De La Garza, Jr., Humberto De La Garza, Jr.,
Luis De La Garza, Richard Carrera, Hector Saenz, and Jimmy Sheppard.
