Juan Serna entered eternal rest on Monday, November 13, 2017. He was born on April 13, 1930 to the late Rumaldo and Rosenda Serna. Juan enjoyed the outdoors, singing, joking, watching western movies and dancing with his beloved wife of 52 years, Alicia R. Serna. Juan was very humble, a kind man who always went above and beyond to help anyone in need.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gavino Serna; and son, Raul Rodriguez.
Juan is survived by his loving wife, Alicia R. Serna; grandsons, Raul Rodriguez Jr. and wife Claudia, Julian Rodriguez and wife Olga; great grandchildren, Raul Rodriguez III, Jesse F. E. Castillo, Ryan Rodriguez, Marc Rodriguez, Marisa Rodriguez and Juels Rodriguez; great great granddaughter, Audrina Skye and extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm, Rev Marcus Gohlke presiding. Burial will follow at Port Lavaca City Cemetery.
