Felisita Eloisa Navarro

Felisita Eloisa Navarro, 83, of Port Lavaca passed away July 6, 2024. She was born November 20, 1940 in Victoria to Arturo and Julia Ann De La Garza Gutierrez. Felisita worked as a Nanny and later at the Hatch Bend Country Club in Port Lavaca. She was a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church.

She is survived by her brother, Manuel Gutierrez.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Navarro; parents; step-mother, Frances Gutierrez; and sister, Elvira Gutierrez.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024 from 9-9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church followed by a rosary at 9:30 a.m. and mass at 10 a.m. with Father Tommy Chen officiating. Burial will follow in Port Lavaca Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Raymond Moreno, Raul Moreno, Ambrosio Moreno, Jose Lugo, Mario Cantu, and Miguel Cantu Jr.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Bethany Nursing Home, PAM Specialty and Citizens Medical Center for the loving care they gave to Felisita.
