Brandon was a loving caring person who loved sports and was a gifted athlete. He loved his whole family and always wanted better for himself and others. Brandon had a big heart, but made a few bad decisions in life. Recently, he found his faith and turned his life around and was looking to be a youth counselor. He wanted to be a mentor for young adults to help change their lives. Brandon will be missed dearly by his whole family.
Brandon is survived by his father and step-mother, Catarino “J.R.” Escobar Jr. and Jaclyn Escobar; mother, Yvette Montemayor Garcia; sisters, Katrina Escobar, Christen Garcia, and Mia Garcia; brother, Thalyn DelBosque; grandparents, Catarino Escobar Sr. and Sandy Escobar, Erasmo and Martha Montemayor, Ruby and Israel Castellano, and Hector Villarreal; great-grandparents, Guadalupe and Erlinda Trevino; and nieces and nephews, Josiah Carter, Anyssa Solis and Aaliyah Solis.
He was preceded in death by his twin sisters, Kaiden and Kailyn Escobar.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 21, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 10 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Port Lavaca Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Thalyn DelBosque, Gavin Escobar, Andrew Escobar, Logan Pettijohn, William Pettijohn, Lawrence Solis, Derek Vasquez, Jessie Montemayor and Erasmo Montemayor.
