Jane R. Young, 96, passed away after a short illness on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. She was predeceased by her husband Ivan Young, daughter Carole Hunsinger, grandson Jeffrey Haner and his wife Tina, sister Eleanor Waters, brother Curt Gage, sisters-in-law Gladys Young and Rita May Young and her friend of 75 years Justine Lacatena.
She is survived by her son Gerald Young and daughter & son-in-law Gayle & Lewis Haner; grandchildren Wendy, Joel, Brian, Jami, Erik and Jeremey; several great and great great grandchildren including Brayden and Denver; special friends Nancy Walters, Paul McDonough and Nancy Kraeger and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jane enjoyed cooking, baking, shopping, visiting with her friends and most of all spending time with her family who will miss her dearly.
A Graveside service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023, 11am at the Port Crane Cemetery, Port Crane, NY.
