Eric’s self-deprecating humor, mundane stories, and outlandish personality were seamlessly mixed with an immense charm and a big heart, creating a vortex of fun and excitement that always surrounded him. The immediate reaction online of the lives he touched is overwhelming.
Eric sometimes wore flashy clothes, watches, or whatever prop he had that day, but don't be fooled by them—he was a simple man. Eric loved hiking with his dog Mason (deceased) and recently Harper, watching the Philadelphia Eagles, or relaxing on a beach vacation.
A lifelong Binghamton resident, Eric graduated from Binghamton High School and Broome Community College, and went on to provide care for persons with developmental disabilities at Broome Developmental Center.
Eric is survived by his mother, Christine (Mark); his siblings, Scott (Hanna) and Brandy (Shawn); his nephew, Maverick; and many beloved friends and family members. He was predeceased by his father, James.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, 11am at the Chenango Valley Cemetery, followed by a celebration of his life at Old Union Hall. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations in Eric’s name to the Humane Society, 167 Conklin Ave., Binghamton, NY 13903.
