So sorry to hear of Barbara’s passing. Sincere Condolences to her family 

I am so sad to hear of Barbara's passing.  I worked with Barb at SFU and although we were in different departments our finance work brought us together.  Barb was so helpful and always so cheerful.   Her laugh made me laugh and her perspective on life made me laugh too.  Over the years Barb and I would talk about all the cruises she and her husband went on, and that she eventually became a Cruise Consultant.  She really knew a lot about the cruise industry and she helped me book a cruise to the Mediterranean for my husband and me.  What a fantastic time we had all thanks to Barb.  My sincere condolences to her family.

I never met Barbara face to face but it seems I knew her well.  I needed to talk to her on the phone quite frequently about my research grants, she was always pleasant, efficient and helpful. It seemed that the details of everyone's accounts were in her head, she made the interaction very pleasant.  

My heartfelt condolences to the family.

May  Barbara rest in peace.
