Cynthia L Seybert

Cynthia L Seybert (Cindy), age 64 of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away on July 7, 2022, one month shy of her 65th birthday following a very brief illness. She was born August 4, 1957 in Muncie, Indiana to Lois (Clifton) and Dale C Seybert.

She moved to Florida in 1984 and never wanted to move back north. Her dream was to travel once she retired, unfortunately she did not get that chance. She enjoyed many hobbies over the years including quilting, scuba diving, and recently returned to knitting. Reading was always her favorite; she would even dive into books on plumbing and electrical so she could do simple things on her own around the house.

Cindy loved animals and one of her greatest joys were the cats and dogs she had adopted. She was strong and independent and as a single parent raised her daughter to be the same.

Cindy is preceded in death by her mother Lois and stepmother Madonna (Howerton).

She is survived by her father Dale, daughter Amber Seybert (Joao Benevides), sister Melinda Rolle, brother Chet (Jane) Seybert, and nephews Chris (Kathy) Seybert and Aaron (Kendra) Seybert and their families. She is also survived by her step grandchildren Tasha, Matthew, and Rebecca Benevides.

Memorial services will be at a later date in Indiana.
