Charles Arthur Newman, age 66, of Nederland, Texas, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024. He was born in Port Arthur, Texas, and was a proud resident of the Golden Triangle area throughout his life.
Charles was known for his dedication, both in his professional and personal life. He worked as a salesman for Cy-Fair Tires, where he earned a reputation as one of the top sellers in the company. His commitment to his work was only rivaled by his devotion to his family, and he was a steadfast and loving husband, father, and provider.
He had a passion for the simple pleasures in life, particularly the quiet serenity of fishing. Whether casting a line into the water or spending time with loved ones, Charles found joy in life's smaller moments.
An avid sports fan, Charles was a loyal Dallas Cowboys supporter and was always cheering on his team with enthusiasm. He also had a soft spot for pickles, which he considered his favorite snack and enjoyed at any opportunity.
Charles leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and warmth. He will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments but also for the kindness and generosity he shared with everyone who knew him. Charles is survived by his parents Philip "Buddy" and Jeanette Robin; wife Kelly Viator Newman; sons Brandon Newman and wife Danielle; Charles Newman and wife Tobi; his step son Derrick Stoever; his step daughters Tiffany Stoever and Amanda Roy; his brother Bobby Hendon and wife Cheryl and his nephew Ryan Hendon.
Charles leaves behind 6 Grandchildren, 8 Step Grandchildren, and 1 Step Great Grandson.
He is preceded in death by his grandson Noah.
Charles will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery , Jasper, TX.
