Judy Maureen Pley

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother and Nani, Judy Pley.

Judy was predeceased by her loving husband, Frans and dear sister, Laurie (Jack). She is survived by her devoted daughters, Shawndy (Duane), Stacie (Bud) and stepson, Steve. Her grandchildren whom she loved dearly; Michael, Bryce (Jackie), Kelsey (Thomas), Caitlyn (Braden), Sophie and great grandchildren, Odette and Lowen as well as numerous nieces and nephews, loving sister and brother in laws, and close friends near and far.

Judy’s love for her family and friends was unconditional. She welcomed everyone with open arms, endless treats, fresh cup of coffee and an ear to listen.

Mom was a selfless person and any help that was given never went unnoticed, whether it was donuts, cash/gift cards or a loving thank you card, she always made sure she went above and beyond to make you feel appreciated.

Moms love for animals extended from her own, to her grand pets, whom looked forward to “Nani Biscuits” visits. Over the past few years she enjoyed her daily visits and chats with her family of deer that waited by her porch.

We will miss our Mom/Nani deeply, but know that she left on her own terms, with nothing left unsaid, and is now reunited with those she loved and missed very much.

Heaven has welcomed another angel. We love you Mom, we will see you later on Heaven’s porch, save us a chair with you and Dad.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thank you’s to: Dr. Wijay, Dr. Williams, Dr. Johnson and Dr. Woodley and all of the lovely nurses at West Coast General Hospital as well as the palliative home care team, Kristy, Sam, Lauren and others.

To Mom’s wonderful neighbors, our family can’t thank you enough for always looking out for her and lending a hand when needed.

In honor of our moms wishes, there will be a private family graveside service.
