Dennis Albert Johnson

Dennis is survived by his children Blaine (Kim), Jody (Mike) partner Doreen, dog Suki, grandchildren Brandon, Darian, Charley & Sydney, siblings Brenda (Ken), Louise (Mike), Gail (Cec), Randy (Bonnie), many nieces, nephews and step family.

Dennis was born and raised in Port Alberni. He enjoyed playing hockey and softball which continued into his adult years as a player and a coach to son Blaine. Dennis spent majority of his career, 35 plus years with MacMillan Bloedel/Catalyst Paper as their Sales Manager which allowed him to travel all over; Japan, England, Australia, and the States. He was generous, kind and smart who taught many life skills to us all. Dennis enjoyed time spent with both family & friends camping, skiing and traveling. In most recent years you could catch him out and about walking the dogs. Although he portrayed to be a tough guy, he was a softy by heart who would always say hello to anyone he passed, and be the first to offer to help.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Fir Park Village for their loving care during dads short stay. ❤️

There will be a celebration of Dennis's life planned later in Spring. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate the AV Hospice Society
