Predeceased by her father Arnold and infant sister Karen. Cindy is survived by boyfriend of 27 years Greg; son Glenn; mother Bernice; siblings Connie (Tony), Brian, and Alan (Tammy); nieces and nephews as well as other extended family.
Cindy was a devoted, doting mother and loved raising her family. She was an advocate for women’s safety and became a women’s counselor at the Transition House. Cindy was a lover of gardening and had a green thumb for growing vegetables and beautiful flower beds. Cindy had a huge heart and cared deeply
for all animals, especially birds (which she would feed tirelessly), deer, raccoons and her biggest love, cats. She had many cats in her lifetime
and even volunteered at the SPCA, generously providing gifts of food and time. Coming from a musical family, Cindy loved to sing. She even
won a karaoke contest at the Salmon Festival. Cindy was an excellent seamstress, making not only her sister’s bridesmaids dresses but also
grad dresses and all of her nieces’ dance costumes. Cindy was a kind and generous soul who was loved by her family and friends for her
beautiful heart.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 4, 2016 from Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, 4731 Burke Road, Father Stephen Paine officiating.
