Born and raised in Manitoba, Albert started working at a very young age doing many different jobs. He moved to the Alberni Valley in 1966 and went to work at APD until his retirement. Along with working at the Mill he had a number of other businesses - he was always working. When he was not working he loved fishing with his family, prawning during the winter months, woodcrafting, and always had time to supply a beer to his friends when they would drop by. He and Jacqueline spent time in Arizona as snow birds for 8 years. Gardening was also something he enjoyed, growing prized tomatoes.
A Memorial Tea will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, 4731 Burke Road.
