Rufus “R.C.” Hall peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the age of 63. R.C. was born in Poplarville, Mississippi on January 6, 1961 to R.C. Hall Sr. and Mattie Hammack Hall. After graduating from Poplarville High School, he enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served his country. Upon honorable discharge, he began a career in trucking, most recently driving for Ladner Investments. R.C. enjoyed to fish, was an avid New Orleans Saints and Ole Miss football fan and above all loved his family and making everyone around him laugh and smile.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his brother, Jerry Lynn Hall and Father-in-Law, Carl Hicks.
Left to forever cherish his memory are his wife of 34 years, Ella Hicks Hall; sister, Patricia Stogner; brothers, Larry (Sandy) Hall and Terry (Allison) Hall; Goddaughter, Shandi Beth Waller; mother-in-law, Henrietta Hicks; brothers-in-law, Jessie (Susan) Hicks, Craig (Krissy) Hicks, Shannon (Cassandra) Waller, Stephen (Margie) Stephens and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services, officiated by Reverend Jeffrey Lee, will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 1:00 pm at White Funeral Home of Poplarville. Friends are invited to join the family for visitation from 11:00 am until the service begins. Interment will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
