Lester Ladner

Services will be at WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Hester Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 am until 1:00 pm, Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Ladner was born December 10, 1931 in Poplarville to Lawrence and Cornelia Dedeaux Ladner. He was a retired dairy farmer; a member of World Wide Church of God in Decatur, Mississippi; and retired from the Stone County Road Department in 2014.

Family members include three daughters, Elsie (Scott) Davis of Poplarville, Odessa (Wes) McClure of Thomasville, AL, Ruby Ladner of Poplarville; two siblings, Herschel Ladner, Jane Ann Odom, both of Poplarville; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Elsie Marie Bond Ladner; his son, Matthew Ladner; his second wife, Evelyn Ladner; and one granddaughter, Lila Michelle McClure.
