Grace "Gracie" Boone

Mrs. Boone was the daughter of Milton Lee Alexander and V'Ella Day Alexander. She was the manager of the bookstore at Pearl River Community College until her retirement in 1992. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Poplarville where she was a preschool Sunday School teacher.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde M. Boone; one sister, Jonnie Boyd; and one brother Gordon Alexander.

Family members include three children, Jan Morrison (Lem), Larry Boone (Janice), Pam Mitchell (Kelly); six grandchildren, Christy Plott (Keith), Jeffrey Morrison (Laurie), Amanda Seals (Ryan), Jonathan Boone (Amanda), Reid Mitchell, Karly Slade (Austin); thirteen great grandchildren, Abby, Samuel, Jacob, Ella Kate, Samantha, Sawyer, Caroline, Thatcher, Levi, Finnley, Amelia Jo, John Lem, and Fisher Wayne.

Funeral services will be at WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Poplarville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation from noon until services, Sunday at the funeral home.
