Mrs. Dorothy Fletcher Hyatt

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday August 12, 2010 at College Heights Baptist Church, Poplarville for Mrs. Dorothy Fletcher Hyatt, 56, of Poplarville, Mississippi who died Sunday August 8, 2010 at her residence. Brother Walter Pierce will officiate at the service. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Poplarville.

A native of New Orleans, Louisiana she was born June 30, 1954. A homemaker and member of College Heights Baptist Church - Poplarville, she was a loving wife, dedicated Mother, and doting Grandmother. Her selfless concern for others has impacted the lives of many. She was a friend to countless people and a mother to all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Tommy A. Hyatt of Poplarville, Mississippi; three sons, Michael Brown and his wife Sabrina, Patrick Brown and his wife Tiffany, and Randy Brown and his wife Nicole; stepson, Dusty Hyatt and his wife Theresa; all of Poplarville, Mississippi; four sisters, Barbara Ann Clark and her husband Jesse F. of Conehatta, Mississippi, Daisy Jolly and her late husband Roger of Poplarville, Mississippi, Darlene Haight and her husband David of Forks, Washington, and Theresa Krummel and her husband Tim of Big Branch, Louisiana; eleven grandchildren, Dillon, Dawson, Joshua, Gabby, Nathan, Nicholas, Cali, Chadwick, Layla, Lane, and Libby; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Her parents, Thomas Pat and Doris Diaz-Fletcher precede her in death.

Visitation will be on Wednesday August 11, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at College Heights Baptist Church, Poplarville.
