C.J. was born March 4, 1984 in Picayune, Mississippi.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jeptha "J.E." Smith and Doug Dubose.
Family members include his wife, Elizabeth Ann "Liz" Smith; his parents, Chuck (Robyn) Smith, Kelly (Buddy) Crews; four brothers, Cody R. (Jordan) Smith, Devon Bush, Emory (Breanna) Smith, Austin (Megan) Crews; one sister, Kristina Rene' (Jody) Bergeron; four nephews, Brayden Lane Smith, Brayden Bergeron, Braxton Bergeron, Lincoln Crews; his grandparents, Barbara Ann Smith, Marie (Frank) Steedley, "Pa" Sherry Dubose; a host aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Barn Church (11057 Highway 11, Poplarville, MS, 39470) on Monday, April 11, 2022 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
