Billy Eugene Saucier Sr.

Billy Eugene Saucier Sr. of Poplarville, Mississippi, passed from this life into the presence of the Lord on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at the age of 84. Billy was born to Philip and Felonse Saucier and a lifelong resident of Poplarville, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards.

He was a man of deep faith, a God-fearing individual who found solace and guidance in the pages of the bible. Billy had a unique ability to pick on everyone he met, but it was always done in good fun and with a twinkle in his eye. His playful teasing created a sense of camaraderie and lightheartedness wherever he went.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Felonse Saucier; daughter-in-law, Tonya Saucier; and great-grandson Kamden James Tribble and numerous brothers and sisters.

Left to forever cherish his memory are his loving wife of 61 years, Jane Grace Saucier; daughter, Sharon Faye Saucier; four sons, Kelvin Eugene Saucier, Billy Eugene Saucier Jr. (Deana), Clinton Ira Saucier (Barbara), and John Francis Saucier; twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 22, 2023 at Steep Hollow Baptist Church at 1:00 PM. Friends are invited to join the family for visitation beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow at Billy and Jane's Family Cemetery assisted by Donovan Eugene Saucier, Dakota Tyler Saucier, Brandon Dale Tribble, Terrance Colby Tribble, Joshua Keenan Tribble and Clinton Conner Saucier serving as pallbearers.
