Bernice Lee Odom, age 88, of Poplarville, Mississippi passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024. She was a lifelong resident of Pearl River County. Bernice was a kind soul with a strong will. She liked flowers, enjoyed to fish and cook.
Bernice is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Preston Odom; grandchildren, Robbie Allen and Faith Scribner; sister, Madie Varnado and brothers, Rayford Lee, Herman Lee, Hershel Lee, Jesse Lee and Clayton Lee.
Left to forever cherish her memory are her daughters, Pam Cooley (Gerald), Patsy Mansfield (Dennis) and Sandra Hall (Larry); grandchildren, K.C. Lee, Will Jordan (Dana), Lesa Lee (Jeffery), and Tony Mansfield (Shannon); great-grandchildren, John Lee (Harli), Destiny Jordan (Kade), Jasy Smith (Colton), Preston Lee (Lexi), Cole Jordan (Taylor), Jaxon Lee, Kendall Lee and Kalli Mansfield in addition to four great-grandchildren; sister, Lois Rae West; four brothers, John Lee, Leroy Lee, Billy Lee and Jimmy Lee and a host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Bernice will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at White Funeral Home in Poplarville, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM with Burt Gentry, Samuel Gentry, Scotty Dearman, Billy Dearman, Ray Anthony and Rex Allen serving as pallbearers. Burial will immediately follow in Odom Cemetery.
