Mary Frances Manning Jackson, age 92, died Friday, April 18, 2014 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born in New Albany, MS on November 26, 1921 to Charlie Manning and Lois Hale Manning. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pontotoc, where she served as the church secretary for many years.
Services will be at 2 PM Sunday, April 20, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in Pontotoc with Rev. Milton Whatley and Rev. Kenneth Corley officiating; burial will follow in the Pontotoc Memorial Gardens. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her four daughters: Betty and Randy Moore of Huntsville, AL, Ann and Johnny Campbell, Mary and Q.T. Tutor, Jr., and Kathy and Jackie Cruse, all of Pontotoc, MS; six grandchildren: Chris Tutor, Mike Campbell, Beth Miller, Susannah Torres, Rebecca Brantley and Blake Cruse; and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Alvin Wayne Jackson; two brothers: Elliot Manning and Carrol Manning; a granddaughter: Stephanie Moore and a great-granddaughter: Ann Claire Brantley.
Pallbearers will be: Chris Tutor, Mike Campbell, Blake Cruse, Jim Torres, Justin Brantley, Lee Miller, Gale Manning and Dale Manning.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 5 to 7 PM and on Sunday from 12 to 1 PM at the funeral home.
