Eddie Eugene Brown

Eddie Eugene Brown, age 91, passed away at his residence in Huntsville, AL. He was born on January 25, 1931 and died on December 14, 2022. He was a graduate of Orange Coast College in Orange, California with an Associate Degree. Eddie proudly served in the U. S. Air Force from May 1950 to January 1991. He was a member of Anaheim 1st Southern Baptist Church. Eddie was a Past Master of Apollo Masonic Lodge #921 in Huntsville, Alabama. He was a member of the Scottish Rite, was coronated a 33-degree Scottish Rite General Secretary in the Valley of Huntsville, Past Master of three York Rite bodies: knighted with Knight Your Cross of Honor, member of the Order of the Eastern Star and served as Worthy Patron. He was also a member of Red Cross of Constantine, and York Rite College and National Sojourners.

Services will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc, with Rev. Philip Brock officiating; burial will follow in the Pontotoc Memorial Gardens. Browning Funeral Home Is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.

Survivors include his two daughters, Peggy Sue Elliott and Carolyn Dianne Brown; one son, Thomas Edward Brown; four grandchildren, Sean Patrick Smith, Erin Patricia Green, Jennifer Renee Smith and Jessica Anne Garcia; five great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Frederick Brown and Leona May Russell Brown and his wife, Faye Dillard Brown.

Visitation will be from 12 to 2 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
