Uncle Ray was my uncle and my godfather. I was always excited to see him and Aunt Nina when they came to visit us in Michigan. My friend and I went to New York when he had the restaurant and he treated us. That is a great memory; I felt very special. Another memory that seems funny now is that when he called on Christmas while the family was all together, everybody rushed to say hello because phone calls were so expensive (times have changed!)  I’ll always remember the love in his eyes and voice when speaking about how Aunt Nina almost died and how grateful he was for the doctors who saved her life. Rest in Peace, Uncle Ray. 

I will always remember Ray's smile as he watched the riders at EATSF.  He always put their needs first and took time to show all how much he cared about them.  

His contibutions to the program will impact the organization for years to come.  We are where we are today thanks to Ray.  In the very early days, he had a vision for the program.  Some would call it a dream. But he believed in what we could accomplish and because of his leadership and direction, his dream was realized.  

We will all miss him dearly.

So sorry to hear about Ray’s passing. I will always remember his wonderful smile and loving and giving spirit. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear the news about Ray. 

I remember how enthusiastic and and dedicated he was to Horses and Handicapped. He had the passion and the expertise to make things happen, and I really enjoyed working with him.

I have had the privilege to know Ray for most of my life.  When I was a student at EATSF, he would come out to see my lesson and cheer me on.  

Later, when I was a volunteer intern, he was always so amazed by the things I was creating on the computer.  When I became Executive Director he supported me fiercely.

Ray always, always made a point to show up for people - this is what I will never forget.  Thank you for everything, Ray.   

I had the pleasure of serving with Ray when he led our Kiwanis district. He loved his family, his fellow Kiwanians and Equine Assisted Therapies of South Florida. He seemed excited to be “Greek by marriage,” and spoke the language beautifully. He was a great man and I was fortunate to know him. RIP, Ray. Thank you for your years of service to others.

It was always a big event when Uncle Ray came to visit. I have so many good memories from my childhood even though he lived far from us.  I remember watching him on a game show and being allowed to miss a little school to do so. He sent us jackets from Vietnam when he was serving there. One of my elementary school classes wrote letters to him at the time. We had many nice visits as adults also. He was such a good man. Heide and I send condolences and offer up prayers for Aunt Nina and Cousin Ray. 

Uncle Ray was my godfather.  I remember when I drove to New York with Grandma and Grandpa to visit them. They showed us the sights and it was wonderful.  I will always remember him as a classy guy who knew how to dress and loved to travel. He was there for me when my husband was in the hospital in Miami. He had a good heart for everyone. RIP dear Uncle.
