HAJDIC, Jean, nee Rasmussen of Lighthouse Point, FL died Oct. 10, 2011. She was born Dec. 8, 1918 in Chicago, IL where she lived for 52 yrs. She attended Schurz H.S. She was an active member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church and the Ladies Sodality. She moved to Lighthouse Point, FL in 1972. She has been an active parishioner of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church and a member of Children’s Home Society. When she was young she was a ballet dancer. She did dramatic readings, and entertained the PTA and Parish Club in Chicago, and also the St. Paul’s Womens Club in FL. She enjoyed traveling. She loved music, dancing, telling a good story, and was always the life of the party. She was the wife of the late Joseph Hajdic for 56 yrs. Survived by a large loving family, daughters Marcia(the late Herman) Rose, Linda (Carter) Henningsen, Paula (William) Sloan, son Kenton (Christine) Hajdic, grandchildren Stacy (Ronald) Pomeroy, Pamela (Dante) DePanicis, Brian (Kathleen) Henningsen, Walker and Merit Hajdic, great grandchildren Stephen, Garrett, and Zachary Pomeroy, Dante, Travis, Nicholas, and Gianna DePanicis, and Kristyn, Kenneth, and Meadow Henningsen, as well as many loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be Wed. Oct. 12 from 5-9 pm at KRAEER FUNERAL HOME 1199 E. Sample Rd. Pompano Beach. FL. 33064 (954) 946-2900. Mass will be said 12 Noon Thurs.
