Myerson, Harvey, 75, of Coconut Creek passed away on February 17, 2015. He was the only child of Rae and Morris Myerson born August 1, 1939 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Harvey graduated from the University of Chicago and obtained his law degree from Columbia Law School.
Harvey practiced law primarily in New York specializing in areas of Anti-Trust, Securities, Corporate and White Collar crimes working for several firms throughout his career including the firm he founded in 1988 with Bowie Kuhn, the former baseball commissioner. Harvey was named by Fortune Magazine in 1984 as one of the top five lawyers for companies in deep trouble. Harvey retired to Florida in 1996 where he resided with his wife Angela and son Maxwell
Harvey is survived by his wife Angela of 17 years and his thirteen year old son Maxwell, grown daughters Karen Spataro, Jill Myerson, and Jessica Cutrona as well as two grandsons Jack and Nicholas Spataro.
A memorial service will be held at 1PM on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home (200 W. Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064).
