Earl was born to Earl and Sarah Clark on May 2, 1934. He went to school at Columbia High School. He married Glenda Singleton on April 16, 1977 in Pompano Beach, FL. He attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. He worked as an Electrical Engineer for several local companies. He was a founder of Modular Computer Systems and worked on many NASA projects.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Pompano Beach and served on many committees. He was an avid golfer with 3 holes-in-one. He was also a passionate fisherman in fresh and saltwater. Earl was loved by his family and friends and was known for his sense of humor and his love of our great country.
Earl is survived by his wife, Glenda Clark, his children, Denise M. Clark, Angela K. Barden, Tracy A. Clark, Kimberly J. Clark, Eliza Appell, Michael and Michael Rhett Clark Caitlin and by many grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he loved dearly. Earl is also survived by Cindy Peters, Larry and Jenni Simon, Mike his sisters-in-law.
Visitation will be at10:00 am, Tuesday April 12, 2022 at Kraeer Funeral Home 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064, funeral services to follow at10:30am with Pastor Robert Sands officiating. Burial will be held at Pompano Beach Cemetery located at 400 SE 23rd Ave, Pompano Beach, FL 33062. Arrangements are by Kraeer Funeral Home.
