Our family was at her side when our beautiful mom closed her eyes for the last time on Friday afternoon August 19th, peacefully and serenely in her own home.
Although in her 95th year she was clear of mind with a wonderful sense of humour. Her life was blessed with many friends of all ages, a testament to her interest in the lives of others and her kind and loving nature.
Our hearts are broken that we will no longer have this remarkable woman in our lives, but she will be with us in our hearts forever.
Loving wife of the late Edward (Ted) Kennedy, she is survived by her children - Debbie, Leslie (Neil), Darcy, Scott (Fiona). Also by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as many relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Oct. 14th at Collins Clark in Pointe Claire, visitations at 11am and service at noon.
