Survived by her loving sons Doug (Anne) and Jeff, she will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Alexandra (Colin) and Bryan (Leanne). Joyce was a proud great grandmother to Colton, Isla, Charlotte, Erika and Everley.
Widowed suddenly at 48, Joyce joins the love of her life, Len, her brother George, and countless other loved ones.
Joyce was the epitome of strength and resilience. At 61 she lost her speech to a severe and devastating stroke. Despite her challenges in communicating, for 30 years she maintained relentless in her desire to socialize and give.
The family wishes to extend deepest gratitude to the staff at Chateau Pierrefonds and the Lakeshore General Hospital.
A visitation will be held at The Church of Saint John the Baptist, 233 Ste-Claire Ave., Pointe-Claire, H9S 4E3, on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 10am, followed by a chapel service at 12pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation can be made in Joyce’s name.
