André Lalonde

With heavy hearts but love overflowing from our cherished memories we announce the peaceful passing of Andre Lalonde on December 31, 2023 at 82 years of age.

Andre was more than just a father, he was a husband, brother, grandpa, confidant, neighbor, and pillar of the Pointe-Claire Community. His warmth, humor, and unwavering dedication touched countless lives, leaving a legacy of laughter, and shared stories.

Andre brought joy and connection wherever he went, from his days at Atlantic, Timmons, Innotech, Hudson General Aviation to his time as a Legion fixture. His booming laugh could light up any room, and his genuine interest in others made everyone feel special. He was a rock for his family, a confidant to friends, and a cheerleader for all who knew him.

He'll be reunited now with his beloved wife Agnes, celebrating eternity with their familiar laughter and love. Though our hearts ache, we find solace in knowing Andre lived a life brimming with love, friendship, and purpose. His memory will continue to shine through the countless lives he touched.

In lieu of flowers Andre was extremely compassionate by all the ways The Legion helped others. Such as, The Old Brewery Mission, The Veterans Hospital, Feeding and Helping Veterans find homes. Even a small donation can go a very long way.
