Harry Leroy English, 90, of Dover, Florida entered into Heaven’s Gates on January 18, 2022. He was born on June 9th, 1931 in Dover, Florida to Hully and Oleta English. He is a member of First Baptist Dover and has served as a Deacon and Sunday School Director during his years there.
He was very active in the Agricultural Community and served in areas of, Fertilizer and Chemical Sales, Produce Sales and was the President of Walden Sparkman Inc., in Dover, Florida. He was also one of the founding Board of Directors for the Valrico State Bank.
His hobbies and favorite past times were hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family in which he cherished dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hully and Oleta; his loving wife of 66 plus years, Junia Faye; and his daughter, Nancy English Bryant. He is survived by his sons; Ronald English (Cindy), Rodney English (Lucinda), daughter; Julia Baker (Mark) and son in law; Russell Bryant, grandchildren; Kayla Forcucci, Amanda Verner, Deidra Crosby, Jake English, Sarah Beth Satmary, Kristie Eaton, JR Baker, Andy Baker and Gina Lloyd; 16 great-grandchildren, and many other extended family members and beloved friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 24th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church Dover Cemetery, 3120 N. Gallagher Road, Dover, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his honor may be made to First Baptist Church Dover.
