Daniel Earle Roberts, 62, of Plant City, Florida was called home on October 3, 2023 by our Lord, Jesus Christ. He was born in Tampa, Florida on November 29, 1960 and was a lifelong resident of Plant City.
He graduated from Plant City High School, which is where he found his love for music and playing the trumpet. He was a talented musician and played the trumpet in the church orchestra. He worked for TECO and gave them 33 years of service.
The two biggest joys in his life were the Florida Gators and his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; John William Roberts and Barbara Sharlene Roberts and his brother, Gary Roberts.
He is survived by his sons; John Michael Roberts (Afton), Steven Daniel Roberts, brother; Kenneth Roberts, and three beautiful grandchildren; Gianna, Braxton, and Landry.
A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memory Gardens in Thonotosassa, Florida and will be officiated by Claude Walker. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Daniel’s life.
