Yvonne Elaine McGregor

After raising her four children, Yvonne went to work at E-Systems in Garland, Texas. Yvonne proclaimed after raising children she would raise flowers. In retirement she spent countless hours in her garden, spent time with friends, went “antiquing,” enjoyed going to the theater, participated in garden club, book club, bible study, and traveling with her women’s group and was a member of Holy Nativity Episcopal Church in Plano.

Yvonne was predeceased by her parents T.G. and Mildred Armour; her husband Buster Louis McGregor, Jr.

She is survived by her children Cynthia Green, Melissa Lawrence (Don), Kelley McGregor, Rebecca Reising (Mike), and grandchildren Samuel Green, Jennifer Lawrence, Jessica Lawrence, Ruby McGregor, Krystal McGregor, Audrey Reising and Rachel Reising.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ted Dickey Funeral Home, located at 2128 18th Street, Plano, Texas 75074.

A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Crown Hill Memorial Park, located at 9178 Webb Chapel Road, Dallas, Texas 75220 where Yvonne will be laid to rest with her husband Buster Louis McGregor.

Mother Samira Page of the Holy Nativity Episcopal Church in Plano, Texas will officiate the graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Operation Kindness at operationkindness.org to remember and honor Yvonne’s love of cats.
