Thomas Henry Kelly, 82, of Plano, TX passed away on May 29th, 2023. He was married to his loving wife Jean Carole Fries for almost 60 years and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Along with his love for his country, he had a passion for hunting, boating and fishing.
Thomas Kelly graduated from Cooley High School in Detroit, Michigan where he received a Bachelor Degree in American Studies from UTD and an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from MCCC. Thomas then joined the Air Force where he served his country from 1960- 1964. He was a Retired Grosse Pointe Farms Michigan Police Officer and a Retired Justice of the Peace in Collin County Texas.
Thomas was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church, American Legion Post 321, Plano Early Lions Club, Justice of the Peace and Constable Association as well as the Plano Republican Men’s Club.
He is survived by his wife Jean Kelly; his sons Thomas Kelly II (Audrey), Sean Kelly (Fatima), Grandchildren; Gabrielle Lance (Brandone), Liam Kelly, Ava Kelly, Omar Cobos Jr. and Ronaldo Ceron (Savannah). Great Grandchild Brandon Lance II; and brother in law Joseph Hoshaw.
He was predeceased by Father Francis Joseph Kelly, mother Clara Lucille Brooks Kelly and sister Cheryl Hoshaw.
