Teresa Ann Eckert

Teresa Ann Lewis Eckert, 75, of Quinlan, TX went to be with the Lord on October 13, 2022 in Greenville, TX. Daughter of O.T. (Buddy) and Vivian Lewis, born in San Antonio, TX and raised in Austin, TX. She was a member of Lakepoint Church. Teresa gave her life to Jesus at the age of 10 and served the Lord with gladness. Teresa married Larry James Eckert in 1966 and was a doting wife and mother. Teresa and Larry had 2 children: Brian and Kimberly. She was a devoted mother who dearly loved her children and especially her grandchildren. She was always gracious and kind to everyone she met. She was witty, smart and sassy. Teresa worked in the Dental field for over 35 years and was hardworking and dedicated to her work. Teresa enjoyed shopping, traveling, going to garage sales but most of all spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, O.T. (Buddy) and Vivian Lewis and her daughter Kimberley Diane Eckert Harris. Surviving Teresa is her husband of 56 years, Larry; sister, Nancy Lewis Owens and husband Jay of Elizabethtown, KY; son Brian Eckert and wife Rosa of Quinlan, TX; surviving son-in-law Chris Harris of Vine Grove, KY; grandchildren, Taylor and Kelsey Harris of Vine Grove, KY, Lauren Eckert of Dallas, TX, Megan Eckert Walker and husband Jacob of Richardson, TX, Kyle Eckert of Richardson, TX, Joe Elizondo of Balch Springs, TX, Jorge Villarreal of Dallas, TX and Gabby Villarreal of Quinlan, TX; great-grandchildren Marlene, Cataleya, Julyana and Noah, and many nieces and nephews.
