Susan McKenna

Susan McKenna passed away on 10/29/2023, her 63rd birthday, after a brief battle with cancer. She was born in Lansdale, PA to the late Dr. John Morgan and Barbara Agnes (Williamson) McKenna. She is preceded in death by her brother, John, Jr (Jack). She is survived by her sisters, Patricia (McKenna) Sikes and her husband, Kent Sikes; Maureen (McKenna) Book and her husband, Kevin Book; Tracey McKenna and her husband Charles (Butch) Walters; and brother, William F. McKenna. She has 4 nephews and was ‘The Greatest Aunt Susan’ to 3 great nephews and 1 great niece!!

She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt and friend. She was a devoted dog mom to Cleo and Mandy. She enjoyed home improvement projects and painting ceramic statues. She graduated from Coronado High School in Lubbock, TX in 1978. She started out working as a waitress in Lubbock, TX and decided to go back to school and became a legal assistant and graduated from South Plains College in 1996. She worked for several law firms in DFW over 30 years.

There will be a private, family memorial service at Ted Dickey Funeral Home, 2128 18th St., Plano, TX 75074.
