Sajan Mathews (Saji), age 55 passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021 in Mesquite, Texas. He was born on July 28, 1966 in Cherukole, Kerala to Late C.P. Mathew and Late Saramma Mathew. He completed his pre degree from St. Thomas College, Kozhencherry, Kerala. He also studied pharmacy at JSS College, Mysore, Karnataka. He was married to his beloved wife Mini Elizabeth Sajan on April 10th, 1996. They settled in Kuwait where he worked as a Pharmacy Tech for the Ministry of Health. On May 2005, Saji traveled with his wife and kids by his side to the United States and settled in North Carolina for 2
years. They then moved to Dallas, Texas where they have settled and lived since September 2007.
He was selfless and showed everyone around him love and care. He always had a smile on his face. He was a loving father and devoted to his faith. He prayed every morning and night with his wife by his side and always made sure his kids read Psalms 91 before any situation- good or bad. He was a prayer leader for our Sunnyvale prayer group, and actively attended church with his family. He showed immense strength for his family, and even during his last moments here on this earth. Sajan in Hindi means beloved, or loved one. He was both beloved and loved by so many people. He touched many people's hearts through his many acts. He was strong during his last moments so that others could go on with life without feeling despaired. Saji was a success- he lived well, laughed often, and loved a lot, he gained the respect of all and the love of everyone. He left the world better than he found it. He looked for the best in others and gave the best that he had. His sudden death has been hard for his family, but we know he is watching over us and enjoying time with his parents in Heaven. One day, we too will be able to see him and Our Father in Heaven. We say not in grief “he is no more” but in thankfulness that he was. Sajan is survived by his wife Mini, two daughters, brother, sister, son-in-law, 2 nephews, 4 nieces, and many cousins.
