They briefly lived in Las Vegas, Nevada, while John completed his service with the Atomic Energy Commission, and then returned to Texas where they have lived since. Peggy was completely devoted to her family, always making sure everyone was loved, well fed, and clothed. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She had a great passion and respect for all life in general, as demonstrated by her years of endless devotion to rescuing and fostering animals in need and working with animal charities. She lead by example, and her unconditional love, selflessness, and compassion made her a model of the Christian spirit.
In lieu of flowers, the family feels that Peggy would best be honored by a donation in her name to Operation Kindness or Feral Friends.
