He was born in Boston, Massachusetts on October 13, 1937. Edward was born to Seymour and Rose Dolby. Edward graduated from Northeastern University in 1960 with his Bachelor degree. He then served in the United States Army. Upon completion of his duty, Edward returned states side and later married the love of his life, wife Linda. Together they raised their family and eventually settled in the Garland area. They were happily married for 42 years.
Edward passions were his love for fishing, cruising, his two Chihuahua’s (Dakota and Montana), playing games, Dallas Cowboys football, and spending time with his family and friends. He and his wife Linda loved RV’ing, and was part of a wonderful camping group called the Garland Sam’s. Edward had the gift of gab. He enjoyed getting to talk with people in his everyday life. Whether it be with the mail man or a person he met in the line at the grocery store, Edward was liable to start a conversation. By the end of it, they knew everything about one another. Edward was a devoted husband, father, grandpa, pop pop, and friend to everyone.
He is survived by his wife Linda; daughters, Jocelyn and her husband Joe Jaliniski, Heather and her husband Dennis Greenwood, daughter Holly Dolby and Spencer Baxter; sons, Robert Kessler, Jason Dolby and his wife Debra; sister, Cheryl Dolby and a total of 5 grandchildren; Alex, Jessie, Nicole, Tatum, and Kinlsey.
