Debra Jean Irons Brown passed away peacefully on 8/19/2022 at her home in Plano, Texas. She was born May 14, 1957, at Franklin Hospital, Claremore, OK to Wanda Setters Irons and Bill Irons. She graduated from Big Cabin High School with the class of 1975 and attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in Miami, OK before moving to Oklahoma City, OK to pursue position in Restaurant Management. She later joined Unisys Corporation as Business Analyst, where she met the love of her life, Donald Brown.
They were married June 27,1992 at The Rose Garden in Oklahoma City, OK. In 1994 they were transferred to Tallahassee, FL where their daughter Amanda was born in December of that year. In 1995, the family moved to Plano, TX where Debbie continued work as a business analyst for Unisys Corporation, later joining Perot Systems and then NTT Data where she was employed at the time of her death.
Debbie enjoyed gardening, cake decorating, learning to quilt, and collecting cookbooks. She especially enjoyed working with her Dachshund, Lucas, in Dog Agility Training and competing in events. She and Lucas earned a master’s title in Dog Agility. She loved her family and extended family, enjoying Family Reunions and events and traveling
Preceding her in death were her Grandparents, her mother Wanda Carnall, stepfather Alvin Carnall and sister Janet Bowling. She is survived by her husband Donald Brown, daughter Amanda Brown of Plano,TX, father and stepmother Bill and Reta Irons, Big Cabin, OK, sister Barbara Keasling Thomas and family, Moore, OK and brother Larry Irons, Kansas City, MO.
