

With great sadness and broken hearts, we announce the passing of Cynthia Kadi Flanagan on April 19, 2025. She was a true warrior having battled breast cancer since 1996. She was born on July 5, 1949, in Kansas City, Kansas to Jim and Margery Kadi. Cyndi was a vibrant, loving, and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and servant.
Cyndi is survived by her husband of 54 years Bryan Flanagan, children Patrick and Jennifer Flanagan of Fairhope, Alabama and Quinn Flanagan of Plano, Texas, brothers Dr. Jim Kadi of Coppell, Texas and Joe and Lisa Kadi of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is also survived by the littlest Flanagan, Declan Patrick Flanagan age 6 of Fairhope, Alabama. Declan brought a special type of love into her life. They created lasting memories together.
Cyndi was a go-getter and a go-giver. She approached everything with great enthusiasm and a positive attitude. While at Louisiana State University, she was president of her pledge class, pledge class leader, Angel Flight, and served as the Sweetheart of Sigma Chi. She taught first grade in Louisiana for seven years and was excellent at it. She was a member of Junior League in Dallas and Oakland, California.
For more than 40 years, Cyndi served in various ministries Grace Presbyterian Church in Plano, Texas for 42 years as Elder, Worship Committee Chair, and 40th Year Celebration Chair.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 3 at 2:00 pm at Grace Presbyterian Church, 4300 W. Park Blvd, Plano, Texas 75093.
