Ann Caroline Gibson, age 81, passed away on December 6, 2011 in Dallas, TX. She was born on July 18, 1930 in Oklahoma City to Dow and Louise Gibson. She is survived by her sister, Charlotte Slemp; nieces and nephew, Nancy McKown and husband Ted, Buddy Slemp and wife Kathy, Alison Kaye and husband Adam. Ann graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1952. She retired in 1994 from Society of Petroleum Engineering (SPE), after 39 years. Ann was a long time resident of Dallas and the last four years she resided in Plano. She loved fishing, crossword puzzles, traveling, quilting, cats and sports. Ann will be dearly missed by her family. Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 12, 2011, at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Norman, OK. Memorials may be made in her name to SPCA or Smile Train.
