Helen Marie Azzaro

AZZARO - Helen, 96 of Dix Hills, passed away Monday December 16, 2024. Born in Kansas City, Mo. one of four children (Mary, Nadine & Albert). It was here she met her beloved husband of 61 years John and relocated to New York at the age of 18. She was a devoted mother to John and daughter-in-law Christine and loving Grandmother to Lauren and John. Helen loved to cook and entertain friends and family. She loved her pets as she had dogs and birds all throughout her life. She had a BIG heart and always did for others.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Helen will be held Friday, December 20, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Pius X RC Church, X Court, Plainview, NY 11803. Following the Funeral Mass will be an entombment from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at St. Charles / Resurrection Cemeteries, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Pius X Church in memory of Helen.
