Gregory was preceded in death by his cherished wife Linda, mother Emanuella and father Onofrio.
Survived by his daughter Donna and son in-law Michael; son Greg Jr. and daughter in-law Lynda; beloved grandchildren Steven, Michael Jr. and Olivia; brother George and sister in-law AnnMarie who is deceased; sister Linda and brother in-law Joe; brother in-law Richard and sister in-law Kathy.
Gregory grew up in Corona, Queens, graduating from Brooklyn High School of Automotive Trades. After serving in the U.S. Army, Gregory worked for the NYC Transit Authority for 20 years. In his retirement, Gregory worked for the Mets Port St. Lucie training facility for decades. Throughout his years, he also enjoyed working at car dealerships in a variety of roles.
In addition to his hard work, Gregory enjoyed spending winters in Florida with his wife Linda, watching football and baseball, especially the NY Yankees. While still living in Huntington, Gregory could be found outside tending to his garden or caring for his home. His greatest joy came from enjoying a home cooked meal with his family and friends, those cooked by his wife Linda being his favorite.
Gregory Nappi’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be dearly missed.

A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St Pius X RC Church, 270 Washington Ave, Plainview, New York 11803. A committal service will occur Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Pinelawn Memorial Park and Garden Mausoleums, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, New York 11739.
