James Richard Tyler

James was born on July 14th, 1951 in Placerville, California to Floyd and Helen Tyler of Grizzly Flats. James graduated from Ponderosa High School in 1969 and married Louise Bartley, his wife of nearly 50 years, in June of 1971.

James spent his years as a woodsman. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and most of all riding motorcycles. He will be remembered by all who knew him for his caring, soft demeanor and his genuine kindness and generosity.

James is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Helen Tyler, his brother Walter Tyler and his sister Mary Ellen Lucas. He is survived by his sister, Susan Tyler; his wife, Louise Tyler; his son, Leonard Tyler (Candance Flaming), two granddaughters, Amber and Lily; his daughter, April Sayer (Michael Sayer) and two grandsons, Orion and Hudson as well as numerous extended family members.
