Elsie Opal Callahan Morgan

Elsie Opal Callahan Morgan was born on February 2, 1926 in Okemah, Oklahoma to John and Ola Callahan. She peacefully passed away on September 16, 2017 in Fairfield, California. Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Morgan; her 5 siblings-Jeff, Lucille, Goldie, Berle and Maryjane; 3 of her 4 Children-Barbara, Phillip and Jerry. She is survived by her Son, John Nathan, his wife Teresa, her daughter-in-law, Denise Morgan-Lodetti and many Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and even some Great-Great Grandchildren. She resided in the Crestview Mobile Home Park from 1985-2014 and in Fairfield, CA from 2014-Present.

Elsie loved to serve others beyond her family and friends. She was an active volunteer at the Hospice Store in Placerville for many years. She was a Presiding Committee leader in her mobile park community and helped to facilitate monthly activities over the years. Elsie served on several ministries at her local church, Green Valley Community Church. Elsie was an active part of the Funeral Support Team, The Greeters and the Clothing Giveaway Ministry.

Family and Friends are invited to the Visitation on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 at Chapel of the Pines, 2855 Cold Springs Road, Placerville, CA and the Memorial Service on Friday, September 29, 2017, 1:00pm, Green Valley Community Church, 3500 Missouri Flat Rd., Placerville, CA.
