Raymond graduated from Cumberland High School, award winning javelin thrower and runner. He was an active Boy Scout. He enjoyed collecting seashells at the beach, picnics, swimming, listening to music and singing baritone with his musical groups at Verland and with Joyful Voices at Christ Church at Grove Farm.
Raymond is survived by his brother; Bernard (Cathy)Zlobecki and loving sisters Suzie Zlobecki and Cindy Beck, he will also be missed by nieces; Natalie (Shaun) Nestler and Missy Savage, and nephews; Brian Zlobecki, great-nephew Liam.
Raymond resided at Verland for more than 20 years.
Our family offers extreme gratitude to his Verland family for their exemplary kind and caring support.
Raymond was a kind soul who was loved and cared by all those around him, his presence will be missed by his family, his childhood friend Jim Morrison. The family would like to thank the AHN Hospice.
Friends will be received on Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00PM
at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc. 1032 Perry Hwy. Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
A blessing service will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home chapel,
followed by an interment at St. Augustine Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Raymond’s honor to the Verland Foundation, 212 Iris Road, Sewickley, PA. 15143.
