Elizabeth Ann Etter, age 79, of Avalon, peacefully passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023. Elizabeth was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was the loving wife and best friend of 52 years to Jerry, together they raised their children; Richard (Laura), Darlene Bowser, Sharon (Kevin) Ruffing and Kimberly (Adam) Fantauzzi. Elizabeth's greatest joy was the love her family especially her grandchildren; Gary (Kelli) Marree, Mandy (Eric) Tattershall, Josh (Krystal), Tyler (Katie) Marree, Kaylee Sayers, Connor Sayers, Carina Fantauzzi, Luke Fantauzzi and great grandchildren; Jack Marree, Kelsea Tattershall. She also leaves behind her sisters Janet (Tom) Slaney and Teddy (late Jeff) Houghton and many nieces and nephews.
If you asked a hundred people who Elizabeth was they would tell you, "Pot Pie Culinary Genius", boater, camper, card player, snow bird, devoted wife, mother and grandmother and great grandmother. She has forever changed those close to her by teaching the true meaning of unconditional love.
Friends and family are invited to the Orion Pinkerton Funeral Home, 1014 California Ave., Avalon 15202 on Tuesday January 10, 2023 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. A blessing service will take place on Wednesday at 11am in the funeral home chapel. Burial to follow at the Allegheny County Memorial Park.
