Cecelia C. Reilly Miller

Cecelia “Cele” Clare Reilly Miller went to be with our Lord on February 14, 2014. Cele was born in Pittsburgh on May 6, 1928, and resided in Castle Shannon, on the Northside, and in West View before moving to San Antonio, Texas, in 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, whom she married on February 16, 1957; parents, Francis and Margaret Reilly; brothers and sisters, Edward, Francis, James, Sister Jane Frances, and Thomas Reilly, Jean Steare, Margaret Snyder, Mary DiBenedetto, and Rosemary Badertscher and their spouses; brother-in-law, William Beck; niece, Marilyn Badertscher, and nephews, Michael Reilly and Stephen Snyder. Cele is survived by her daughters: Virginia Kibe, McKees Rocks, and Maureen (Frank) Ballard and Kathleen (Bill Botson) Lopez, San Antonio; sisters-in-law, Marie and Gloria Reilly, Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Christopher Miller and Melissa Kibe, Bradley and Aaron Ballard, and Kristen Oleson, Lori O’Brennan, and Michael and Matthew Lopez; great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Cecelia Sullivan, Orion, Rowan, and Fiona Ballard, and Alyssa and Madeleine Lopez and Molly and Eleanor O’Brennan; and a multitude of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Throughout her battle with vascular dementia, Cele’s sweet, serene spirit and ever-present smile uplifted everyone who knew and loved her. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, February 19, from noon to 8 pm at Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Highway, Ross Twp, 412-364-4444. Mass will be on Thursday, February 20, at 11 am at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 7 Chalfonte Avenue, in West View, followed by a brief service at Christ Our Redeemer Catholic Cemetery, 204 Cemetery Lane.
