Verna Hue Taylor

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Verna was most proud of her family and loved everyone dearly. She enjoyed cooking and going to the casino.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Thomas Suire and wife, Janie; seven grandchildren, Emily, Jack, Madeline, Corbin, Beau Suire and Leigha Clayton; four great grandchildren; two siblings Shirley Lebreton and Ludger Hue and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her child's father, Eugene "Gene" Suire; husband, Lucius "Ed" Taylor; one daughter, Susan Touchet; one grandson, Nicholas Clayton; three sisters, Bernice Michel, Eula Rivere, Vanice Bernuchaux and four brothers, Ulyess, Larry, Ory, and Clayton Hue.

A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 8:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the church mausoleum.
