Lois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a very selfless and caring person who always put everyone's needs before her own. Lois touched so many lives and left her mark by caring for family, friends, and neighbors when ill. She was a nurse at The Pediatric Clinic in Morgan City for thirty five years. Later in life, Lois enjoyed cooking, gardening, and playing Pokeno. She was a member of the St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church Bereavement Committee and church fair volunteer.
Lois leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of sixty eight years, Odon P. Landry; five children, Dale Landry (Laura), Patricia Settoon (Mertile), David Landry (Kim), Daryl Landry (Vicky) and Paulette Mendler (Jeffrey); eleven grandchildren, Kylie Blanchard (Arthur), Durk Landry, Megan Comstock (Jacob), Lauren Kelley (Trey), Micah Medine (Jared), Taylor Latino (DJ), Chance Landry (Kelsey), Cade Landry (Alyssa), Hannah Mendler, Meredith Mendler, and Jackson Mendler; fourteen great grandchildren and one sister, Ida LeBlanc (Calvin).
She is preceded in death by her parents, Odom and Mable Settoon Hebert and one brother, Hayward Hebert (Lucy).
A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in Pierre Part on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 8:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12pm at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church mausoleum.
